Default where to source new alternator regulator / slip rings

Hi
trying to locate new alternator regulator for 2000 Disco 2 V8.
bosch alt part no 0123 510073 130amp

all my local (New Zealand) suppliers quote a price more expensive then brand new alternator! - $375 for the regulator.

I have two alternators to rebuild

Cheers

I did a little research just to see what I could find.

The regulator's part number seems to be 1 197 311 549.

So I found this one:

Regulator, alternator for Land Rover Discovery, Range of Bosch 1 197 311 549 - rexbo.eu

Seems pricey though.

Also found this:

https://www.wilsonrebuilder.com/comp...077-62-15-6656

But they wanted me to create an account to see a price. However, the cross reference list on this site is VERY useful.

Luckily, you may not need the cross reference list because I fed "Bosch 1197311549" into ebay and found:

Bosch Alternator Voltage Regulator BHA Landrover | eBay

--------------------------------

With the slip ring, I found this site that lists a part number and appears to sell them:

http://www.woodauto.com/Unit.aspx?Ma...Ref=0123510073

and

http://www.woodauto.com/Component.aspx?Ref=SLR39121

So the Bosch part number is 1124303007.

I have a feeling this is the correct part:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bosch-Altern...70af7d&vxp=mtr

But I would certainly email the vendor and verity because the measurements are slightly different from the Wood Auto link above.
