Reasons for white smoke exhaust? Anyway for my second question, i did my spark plugs today, and while the car was running I pulled one of the wires, nothing changed. Im pretty sure thats bad. Should i take my rover to sears to get obde2 done?

Ya, I would say the head gasket is blown. As far as the wire is concerned, is your motor missing? The only thing i can think of is that cylinder where you pulled the wire out of is dead, but the motor would have a miss.

I helped pwn777 work on his disco today at my house, where we changed the plugs. I noted the following:
When we pulled his old plugs, they did not look out of the ordinary. They were not burnt down, or completely fowled. They just had the usual signs of being used plugs.
When we changed his new plugs, and started the car, I pulled 2 wires on the passenger side of the engine, each one separately. The engine did not run any worse than it already had, when they wires were plugged in. This leads to believe that the wires may be bad, your coil pack (if discos have them) may be bad, or something else.
Also, I took a look at the smoke coming from the exhaust. It did not smell like oil. When I drove the Land Rover, I felt it had normal pick up for a vehicle of it's weight, and idled ok, however, I can hear a misfire/hesitation when it idles.
Something I forgot to add:
I took a look inside the coolant pressure bottle. I saw that the coolant was totally clean, with no signs of oil or anything like that happening.

Ya, it if its a slight miss, it probably is bad wires, but why would white smoke smell like oil? If the smoke is white, he is burning antifreeze. If the truck never overheated and the temperature is constant then i would suggest checking the coolant every morning making sure it is at proper level..
If he was burning oil, the color of the smoke would be blue...

Don't worry about the wires for now, although you do need them. Need to deal with what is going to require head gaskets first. How mechanical are you?
