Man, I've been dying to wash under the hood (that doesn't sound right.)

If I use Gunk (or WD-40 or other cleaner) and then spray her down, what do I cover if anything? Alt? Fuel pump relay? MAF?

I'm also curious about that spectre filter any noticeable mpg or power changes? I've got an AEM dry flow filter from a previous vehicle I've been considering running on my 04. And before I get bashed for the thought of "ruining" it's off road capabilities I use my 99 for the backwoods, and my 04 is my DD and I average around 400 miles a week on it so as a college student a little help in mpg at the pump would be great. And I would love to show my spotless 04 engine bay, but it went in the shop yesterday for a new oil pump so maybe next week if this is still going.

Default 2001 104,000 miles

Heres is mine! I take pride in my truck and love the clean smell vs the antifreeze smell.
