Default Who has the Highest Mileage??

I have only 113k on my 01 D2.. im just curious because I kinda became attached to this thing since its this frist car I ever tinkered with myself.. drives great and looks awesome.. I seen some guys out there with over 200k and wanted to see how much the extreme guys get out of these bad boys.. and when do you throw in the Towel..

I would also like to thank Savannah and Disco Mike for encouraging me to try and fix some of the things myself before seeking a mechanics help.. HAHAA I sound like a just won an acadamy award.

180k is HIGH.. compared to the rumors you hear about the truck and the price I paid for mine (3G) because of those very same rumors.. I would be more then happy to get another 70k out of mine.. I only do about 4k a year drivings soo.. that would be great.. plus by the looks of your pic.. it aint highway miles?? haha.. AWESOME

My Disco is the most reliable vehicle I have owned, there have been no major problems with it, the most expensive thing I have ever replaced is either the power steering pump or the alternator, and on top of that it has been owned by an enthusiast and used off road it's entire life.

Looks pretty good for 180k miles and 12 years of off roading, if I do say so myself :P
(Ignore the junk in the floor and missing trim piece, picture was taken while installing something)

really.. most reliable?? looks great!!.. its almost taller than the house!! I like that lap top arm you got there!! I might have to purchase one for my Ipad.. I just got mine from a sleazy used car guy who I think basically just cleared the codes.. no sweat.. I got the truck for 2500 under book and learned a lot about it and look forward to keeping it for a very long time..

I'm closing in on 212k, 2nd most reliable car I have ever owned, the most reliable was the 2001 Mitsubishi Montero that I bought brand new, 5 yrs and 100k without a single repair.
I've had my Rover going on 5 yrs and 60,000 miles with less than $2,000 in repairs and I bought it with 152,change on the clock.
Original head gaskets too.
I also take my truck offroad on a regular basis.
And wade in deep water.
And idle for extended periods.
Tow heavy loads.
Pull tree stumps out of the ground.
Basically, I use it like it was meant to be used.
