RE: Who has motorcycles?
2004 BMW R1150R. Ferro Metallic with all black drivetrain. Love this bike, but my wife and I are planning to take our newly acquired Disco from LA to Argentina by the end of September for a 6 month trip. It has to go ... so if anyone is interested... It has always been garaged and dealer maintained. I can give you all the details, pics etc., just PM me...

RE: Who has motorcycles?
Motorbikes, Oh how I love them.
A Brief motor -vehicular history of me.
1988 -Collage-Georgetown-Washington DC
75' Honda 550 four -made to look as if I was racing the Isle of Man in 1965
76' Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans 1 -oh, the beautiful sounds of italian an Italian twin but she handled like a pig but better than a hog.
1990 -I drop out of collage and move to NYC on the Guzzi
95' Ducati 900SS -This is the modern world!!!! I felt like I was flying a sopwith camel biplane for 10 years and suddenly given an F-16
got married after meeting her a Ducati mechanics part
2000- I crashed hard- broke my baby in 2 on a curb in the hills of Bear Mountain NY
2001-2004- Got divorced bought a car (volvo p1800)
2005-2006 -sold P1800 bought a 97' D1 for a dollar-I was reborn
2007-moved to LA in the Dollar Disco from NYC with New GF
2007-2008 With only the Dollar Disco and two of us needing to go to work, I found a perfect 89' Honda Transalp on craig's list and rediscovered my love for riding and learned to appreciate California (not L.A.) through riding again but more akin to that of the Dollar Disco's pedigree. On and Off road.
Throughout the year I realize California is heaven for Gear-heads. The GF & I find great roads on and off (the bike and paved roads)
Dec 23 2008 I found a great deal on a 2002 D2 Now we're a 2 disco family.
Some frown on our two Disco household. I say we're recycling.
Plus the Tranny (my bike) gets 250 miles per tank on her/him err her....
