I don't understand why the price is so wide-ranging. Can I just get the non-genuine Lucky8 hubs? Or will I be replacing them in a year?

Mystery brand from Lucky8 ($100): https://www.lucky8llc.com/collection...t-hub-assembly
Atlantic British ($300): https://www.roverparts.com/driveline...ngs/TAY100060/
Genuine Land Rover ($472): https://www.lucky8llc.com/collection...sembly-genuine

$200.00 Set of 4 Hub's

208.00 to be exact, but I've installed several of these for customers and zero issues in well over 3 years now.

You're paying a markup which varies by seller.

Welcome to the world of greedy auto parts suppliers.

80%+ of all modern vehicles do not use a serviceable double tapered roller bearing (old school style) anymore. Sealed bearings are made to better tolerances, they last longer, they roll smoother, etc. It's a standard automotive design now days

I was going to buy these but they don’t ship to a US military APO address.
I settled for a front pair of hubs for $138 from AM Autoparts since they boast about their 10 year warranty.
We’ll see what happens with them.

its no more difficult to put a seal bearing in than the older ones. I just push out the old one and use it to push in the new sealed one in, as for seal for life it only sealed as long as the rubber lasts, at least with the older type you can replace the seal as needed and normally before the bearing at a much reduced cost

Best4x4: I clicked on the link in your post above. Unfortunately, the link no longer exists.

I thought I would bring this thread up again. Just wondering what the latest experiences are with the inexpensive Ebay hubs? Have they been reliable for you? There are just some many inexpensive ones and not sure which one to pick?

Thanks.
