Default Wife hit a dear in the disco

Well title says it. A dear jumped in front of them at night. Dear ran off seemed ok. Wife and daughter ok just shook up.
well the damage is minor really S the brush guard took the blunt of it. It bent into the fender and the hood but not that bad.
cosmetic damage around the headlight but nothing broken there and bumper looks fine just broke the bulb in the fog light.
thank god for the brush guard.

So cool to hear the brush guard did it's job. Justifies the mpg penalty for toting it around.

Sorry to hear! Glad that it seems like the truck fared ok. Surely would've caused some damage for those of us without brush guards...

Wow- brush guard really saved you. I wonder if a ratchet strap + a tree would let you pull it back out, and then you can address the minor body damage. Surely someone will have a suggestion (probably a bit more elegant).

Also your neighbor looks to have a flat tire.

Yeah, brush guard probably saved a bunch of damage there, probably would have lost the light, grill, bumper, etc. without it.
