Default Will a '99 running board fit on a 2003?

May be a dumb question as they look the same but thought I would ask. Perhaps just different brackets would be the most needed?

I'm cheap and I found some used at a salvage yard.

Probably yes, but do you know that the first thing to be torn off when going off road is those damm steps?

Good point Mike, but my lovely wife agreed to my change of vehicles and afterwards she discovered that at 5' 1" tall and short legs she can barely get into the car without the side steps. Besides I do have a 3 inch lift kit and some good off road tires so the chasis is higher then a stock disco and most of my off-roading will be driving out into the rice fields west of Houston during Goose and Duck season
