Default Will a D1 arb bumper fit a 2003 D2

Been on the hunt for a new front bumper. Found a nice D1 ARB bumper but don’t know if it will fit. Anyone ever try this?

I want to say no. The usual overlap with bumpers is RTE and old $gard bumpers would interchange nicely between D2s and classics. I don't believe the ARB's swapped model years nicely.

D1 ARB will fit onto a D2, but it will sit lower along the fender/headlight finisher area by probably 1/2 an inch.

To each their own of course, and personal taste varies, but FWIW I had an ARB bumper on my DII for a few years and ended up getting rid of it. I didn't like how far forward it extended, not just the looks but how it reduced the departure angle. There are several others out there that are lower profile.

Yep ARB do stick out. I myself truly liked the TJM bumper as it was just plain sexy. I have 2 ARB's on 3inch lifted D1's and I haven't really dug em into anything yet. For serious hardcore off roading Tactical Rover, Safarigard, or RTE would be the top 3 choices.

The reincarnated Safari Gard, or a scarce-as-hens-teeth original?

reincarnated is crap compared to the original. Sh*t powdercoating and customer service. Dude kind of disappeared on the FB groups and really seemed like a miserable person lol
