Default Will OME 2" lift without tire upsize look silly?

I am currently running 255-60r18's on my 03 disco. I am happy with how the truck looks now, but my suspension is shot. Will going with the OME med kit make my tires look funny if I dont go bigger?

I have an OME Med lift with stock size tires, and I hate how it looks. I am going back to stock springs until I do not use it as my daily driver. That said, not many people really notice, and my tires are 255/55/R18

Yes, I did it and my rover looked like it had mini donuts on it. So, I waited for a sale and purchased some new tyres and now you cannot see the nice yellow
coil springs

265/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler territory -- and happy with them.

Here's what a 2" OME lift looks like with 18" wheels and stock tires...

I didn't like it... But I upgraded to bigger tires and filled the wells...

Out of curiosity TripleThreat, how much did the larger tires throw off the speedometer and mpg's?

Haven't done an MPG calculation yet...

Here's the two tires compared side by side re: size, speed and revs per mile...

I think with meatier tread (ATs or MTs), it would look good. Plus then you don't have to worry about MPGs, speedo recalibrations or raising your center of gravity even more.

Here's how it looks with the larger tires (and powder coated wheels)...

Much better with the wells full of rubber in my opinion...

@TripleThreat... I really, really like the look of the powder coated 18s with the 275/65 Duratracs. I keep going back and forth between putting 275/65s on my 18s (like you did) or buying a set of 16s and going with 265/75 after the lift. I like both setups. Did you go with the OME 2" 'HD' springs and 'NitroCharger Sport shocks'?
