I have never bought tires other than cheap road tires so I have no clue what all the numbers mean when I am looking atthem. The tires I have on now say 255/65R16XPC but I have no clue as to what any of that means other than I think the 16 is my rim size. Will someone please explain what all the numbers mean and maybe recommend a tire that will fit my stock disco (maybe a all terrain tire?) I don't do a lot of off roading but I do some when the oppurtunity presents itself. I want an aggresive lugged tire that still preforms well on the road. In other words I want a bad *** tire that won't eat gass! Thanks for all your help!!!

The numbers mean as follows :-

Your tyres are 255 mm wide and the height of thetyre side wall is 65% of the width and as you said they are 16" inches in diameter

Want a "Badass" AT (All Terrain) tyre for you car, then the BF Goodrich AT or the General grabber AT2's are probably the 2 best..
