Default Will these fit....

I found some G4 edition light guards and I reallylike them better than the other ones that I have seen. But I have looked on two sites and one says it will fit all discovery II's (99-04) and Atlantic British says it will only fit 03-04 I will post both sites below:

http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/STC53194.cfm

AND: This is the one that says it will fit all Disco II's, go down about half way to see them, they are called "genuine g4 land guards"

http://www.dap-inc.com/acc/app/d2/d2...ext.shtml#lamp

So does anyone know if they will fit both? Do you like these better than the others??

THANKS!

Cameron

I can't tell you for sure, but I am concerned why you want to run them, most of them get torn off or rust and don't really serve a purpose. Think of all the fun things, that will make your truck more trail ready that you could buy, unless you just think they look cool. I realize that I have a negative feeling against all brush guards and light covers cause the way I look at them, they are just things to put on, look at and replace when they get damage.

Haha, well these wont rust because they are made of polycarbonate (its doesnt rust and its very tough). I just like the looks, and I am buying an A-frame brush bar soon, for now those are for looks, soon I will look into getting bigger tires and possibly a small lift. But thats down the road. Now if you want to see something on a disco thats just wrong, come to my town, I have seen at least 3 with shinny rims and 1 with spinners.... so sad. At least the things I want make its looks somewhat rugged rather than ghetto. I am going to call D.A.P. and make sure they will fit before I buy!!

Asheville NC, I have seen more goofy looking rovers here than anywhere I have ever been. But at the same time I do see some really cool ones. We even have a guy who sells classic land rovers, he has a TON.

Did you ever find out if these would fit Disco II's older than '03?

Yes, they will fit 00-04.
Ihave seen them in person on another 2000 discoII and they look spiffy, but I held off and bought some recovery stuff instead so I dont have them myself.

Just so you know, they are for looks only and give any real protection from being hit.
