http://www.hlcfab.com/ check these guys out i think you'll agree that they make some awesome looking bumpers, without sacrificing toughness.

x2. I really like their non-winch bumper, very clean.

Also, check out the Bottorf-Fab stuff. I've a set of Nate's rock sliders (they're top notch) and I've seen his front and rear bumpers in person and can attest to their quality and appeal. Plus, he's an enthusiast and was great to do business with.

I'm assuming they are pretty new. i met one of the guys at a rally in october, and he was talking about their prototype which was the bumper on his truck (the red d2 on their site). they tried to combine the strength of some of the better bumpers with a mor finished look, not showing so much of the undercarrage. the winch sits nice and tucked in too.

What do you guys think of a winch like this on a hi country 3 hoop winch bumper? Do any type of car/truck winches mount on these things or would one need something more specific? The only thing that makes me skeptical is that its priced pretty cheap at 9000lbs capacity when i've seen some WARN ones that are over 1000 dollars.

I assumed the winches came with the bumpers...

the hi-country's look burly.

my concern would be the approach angle.

With a winch I would go for one of the top 2 or 3 manufactures instead of a no name. Granted, that winch has 1 extra H.P. over my 9500 HSI Warn winch, but I bet mine will pull faster, harder and longer on less voltage with less heat.
