Default Window lift ECU solder??

I made a new thread because I know alot of times people dont go review the old ones.

I got my Window Lift ECU out after some battle..

Now the dark spot I take it is where I solder.. I put the solder into the hole and then melt it correct?? It doesnt look like there was ever any solder there..

Im pointing at the corner of the module that it would go to, when you look in the hole you can see metal, but I would think there would have been a pin or piece of wire sticking out of the hole..

So you DONT see a pin sticking out of the black module? If you look through the space between the module and the board, do you see a pin? or anything going from the module to the board? What kind of window behavior are you getting?

Nope.. no pin, I am getting intermittant rear windows.. sometimes they work, sometimes they dont..

OK.. actually I think the solder is bad.. Its very hard to see, allmost imperceptible to my eyes, but I can see it in this photo and as soon as I put the heat to the pin it was appearant the the solder was coming loose.. Wil reinstall and see what happens..

Jesus Mary and Joseph....

Got it back in, but let me tell you, this project is not for the faint of heart, or someone with little patience, I am a small guy and I had a hard time getting my hands back into the glovebox area to fiddle with this stuff. Broke the face plate trying to get it back on, so it looks like its time to break out the trusty Electrical Tape.. Bummer thing is the whole enchillada sets in a box that is leaning down, so I am concered that he damn circuitboard will try to slide out of its box and be crushed everytime I open and close the glove box.
