Default Window regulator or motor?

I think I already know the answer but just want to ask before I start ordering parts.

When I hit the button I hear the click under the passenger dash and I with the door panel off I here a click from the window motor but there is ZERO movement, nothing. Not even a centimeter. I replaced the roller a while ago and I can reach my hand up there and feel that it is still in place.

Has to be the motor, correct?

As long as you are getting 12volts at the connector than yes Sir I would say the motor is fragged

Ok cool. If the motor was working I would have to see some movement in the regulator no matter how minute or hear something more from the motor other than a faint click, correct?

In my experience yes. Never seen a regulator so jacked it the motor couldn't get it to at least twitch

Yep either cut wire or dead motor. I’ve found several motors so rusty inside they were shorting out internally.

Wait, cut wire but I am getting a click from the window motor? How does that work?

Sorry was on my mobile phone and didn't see the part in your original post with the motor clicking as well as the relay.

If the motor is clicking or thumping it's probably the gears or the internal parts of the motor. I removed the one I had in my 04 that clicked under the dash, but not a sound from the motor, and when I tried it with a battery and some alligator clips it looked more like I was trying to weld. I was very surprised that didn't hurt the relay under the dash. Swapped the motor out with a Right Rear I grabbed at a junk yard and I was good to go.

Ok. Sounds right to me. As far as getting the regulator and motor out; I can’t roll the window down and unbolt the window from the regulator rail so should I disconnect the motor from the harness, unbolt the regulator from the door slide it down and unbolt the window from the rail and push the window back up and secure to the window frame with a clamp?

Is this the right angle?

Thanks
