I need to get in there and deal with some rust on my roof at the windscreen edge before it gets any worse.
My question is: how hard is it to remover the windscreen top finisher? What are the odds of me getting it off without wrecking it?
Anyone done this?
It's an original part so far as I know.
Thanks!

You could jimmy it out but I doubt you'll get it back in without taking the windshield out. Plus the rust continues down the windshield channel and should be dealt with. I had mine taken out a few months ago and wasnt pretty where the windshield covers and the shop grinded down where all tje rust is and primed it for me. Best route to take. Good ol ontario rovers right?
Oh. I don't want to take my windshield out. Particularly as I'd need to replace the plenum cover too (siliconed that sucker on a while back - why replace now what you can replace later).
I'm always jealous as hell when I see those southern ones with their perfect clean undercarriages.
