That particular eBay link is not working. Can you share the name of the seller and the item title from your eBay Buying record, please?

That's strange, it works fine for me. Seller is x-autoparts1. Item is "FOR LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 2 II 99-04 WINDSHIELD COWL MOLDING WIPER PANEL COVER"

I bought mine from here - https://www.ebay.com/itm/285948787688. So far I am pretty impressed with it. It has a slight lift on the drivers side corner but not enough to complain about it. I could probably stick it down with somer silicone. It's only been there for about two months and only exposed to heat and UV. I'll update this after the cold season hits or a problem appears.

Dirty photo -

I bought it from exact same vendor, no issues at all. Let’s remember this is a piece of plastic, as long as it fits tightly (which it does) there is no reason to spend 2x the money

vendor name is x-autoparts1

Too expensive and OEM parts have a proven record of deteriorating

Yeah, not cheap, but I can handle it lasting over 20 years with that price, like the originals on my d2's

Dude! You are a rock star for posting that thread!!!!!

I had water in the footwell just prior to leaving for Europe and I bet that discussion is what is the cause. I thought I had a leaky sunroof, but the headliner is not stained at all. It gave me some very definitive places to look for sources of the leak. And I did a new (used) cowl and A Pilar trim when I had the heated windshield put in, so I bet that’s my source. Thanks!!!!

Can't wait to hear how it fits.
I still have time for some buyers remorse on the genuine one, as it hasn't been shipped yet.
I did not even remember the aftermarket ones as I rushed to order the genuine after the in stock notification
