Default windshield defroster works but still frosts inside

Is there some trick i'm missing. My defrost puts out great hot air but the windshield still fogs and frosts on the inside, using the windscreen heater helps a little but still no good. Help!

A/C compressor works fine when you put the climate control on cold it blows ice cold. But the a/c compressor wont run when you raise the temperature, according to the manual it's not going to run with the heater/defrost cycle.

If I open the driver front window a crack it draws the air that way and helps some, just noticed that when I went to lunch. I will say it does ok in two feet of snow. We got dumped on here in Michigan over night and never shoveled just drove right through it. I think I will like this when I get all the bugs worked out.

Make sure its not set on recycle air setting. Its the circle arrow round button thingy on climate control dash. It will fog up if on, you want to be heating that drier air from the outside.

Have you checked that you are getting 12 volts at the windscreen connections? if not check out the fuse and relay. Also disconnect the screen connectors and check for continuity through the screen.

The A/C on any setting, A/C, eco etc should defrost the screen in a couple of minutes when the direction is set to 'windscreen', my biggest fear is it's too hot and too quick and may cause the screen to crack.

I will look at the recycle thing, new to me so not familiar with all the buttons and switches yet. Windscreen heater works ok it thaws a bunch of vertical rows across but the corners still frosted. Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Its the large button on the right with circle icon. When on it displays same icon on climate control screen. Good for summer time bad for winter defogging.
