I used a couple of hose barbs from some old carbs I had laying around. Tapped the hole where the old plastic barb broke off and installed the brass barb.

I ordered a set off ebay,....out of China. They dont fit. Its possible they sent something that would not fit an E36 either. Dunno. Tried altering them to fit,....no go. fortunately only out $1.98

i tried bmw e6 ones on my '99 and they didn't fit. i trimmed them down and got them installed eventually, but they never worked very well.
