Default Winter Project (not a LR)

38 years in a barn.

Steamed the gas tank, new brake lines, new battery, carb kit, changed oil, cleaned out the mouse nests - and it fired up. This should keep me out of trouble for awhile.

Wow...cool photo and car! Is this a project for keeps or one to pass along after you're finished? How did you come across it? What color paint are you thinking for the end result?

Are you breaking her down and doing a total rebuild? (maybe not needed?..) It would pain me to do that - I'd just want to sit in it all winter and daydream!

Well I found it 40 years ago .I traded an Indian scout for it . It has a 327 out of a 67 car .I want to get the motor and interior perfect along with chassis and put on some cool wheels . It has olds wheels on it now . I think I will just leave the body as is . It shows it's history. It's a 59.

Oh, 59...(hard to tell them a part, not much difference, if any, besides suspension changes).

And since that's the case...l don't hate you anymore...lol.
