Is this what I should get for my DII even if I don't do the DI arm conversion yet? The last time I got wiper blades from advance autoparts (online) their stupid parts reference system sent me blades that weren't even close to fitting.

no they wont fit. you need to ditch the D2 arms and get D1 arms so you can install other blades. otherwise you need the blades from the dealer or i think napa sells some aftermarkets for $34 each.

Oh damn seriously? So I can't do anything EXCEPT get the D1 arms if I'm trying to go aftermarket?

...okay that explains all this talk of the sill blades.

Well that sucks. I guess I'll buy those 422As while they're on sale and see if I can grab D1 arms somewhere.

That's right.
As for just putting on some refills, like the Tricos, the spring on a D2 arms loose tension against the windshield as d the little arms that hold the refills, bandade yes but not the way to go.
Also, on D2's you only use 22" blades on the windshield.

Don't do it!!

Check out my thread from a while ago - I discovered a MUCH better (IMHO) way to solve the wiper issue.
