Default winterize?

I plan to drive my summer car 2-3 times a month, and the Discovery this winter.
Do i need to put a gas stabilizer in the tank of the idle car and make other precautions?

Default RE: winterize?

i'm in below freezing weather and i've only had 2 problems

-door handle snapped when opening door (JB weld won't fix, so that sucks)
-Windshield wipers freeze and the windshield wash won't come out as they are frozen over

haven't done anything special, starts take an extra second, oil pressure light takes a second to shut off, but that's it

"YES", gas goes stale fast and can really screw with your engine if you try to burn it off.

Before you store the Rover, take it to the automatic car wash and get the full deluxe wash.
Take it to the gas station closest to your house, dump in your fuel stablizer and then top off the ags tank, drive it home and park it.
Do nothing else to it until you need it again.

tomfraser-If I remember right you have a DI, stick your right hand inside the door where it meets the "B" pillar, open with your left hand and pull with your right.
Pull youe wiper arms out towards the front of the truck when you park it for the night.
Use premium windshield washer solvent, the kind with de-icer.
