Wiring plugs under hood near windshield..?

What are the two wire plugs at the edge of the windshield for? Under the hood right at the corners? Is that for the heated windshield?

Probablyfor aheated windscreeen. Are they connected to anything, wires going up to the windshield? Does your windshield have very fine, vertical squiggle lines in it?

I don't have a heated windshield. The plugs are exposed (unused).

I'm thinking of adding a couple lights to my SD rack. Are there any existing wires I can use? Any of the switches pre-wired?
