Jhearst this is the Disco 2 section of the forum. You should post this issue in the appropriate section for your model (LR4 or 5?). Good luck with it.

Do you have brake lights when pedal is pressed? Could be as simple as a brake switch or a faulty/seized solenoid at the shifter. Spill any big gulps into your shifter assembly recently?
