Guys, my 2000 D2 has developped something in the couple of weeks. When the truck is in Park, I can turn the key all I want to start it, Nothing happens!! no clicks absolutely silent, like if the battery was completely dead!!! but its new and that's not it, cause....I put it in Neutral and it fires right up.

When I purchased it some 4 years ago, the solenoid had already been either taken out or disconnected, cause I can have my auto tranny go from Park to 1 and back with my keys in my pockets

I have also noticed lately that the shift stick is a little harder or should I say stiffer to move than what I remember. The tranny oil and filter have been changed to mobil1 syn.auto tranny oil and new filter 3 years ago.


So, .....Where should I start ???

 

Was told to check XYZ switch for adjustment on LRO.
