With a little hunting on the interwebs, you can find an ARB Safari Snorkel for just under $430

Can't remember exactly where, it was several weeks ago, but it was North of Seattle, it was on a weekend, my wife and I were headed north on I-5 (not in our Rover), but I bird-dogged a silver, lifted, hood blackout-ed Disco from across the freeway, and rubbernecked enough to see that there was no spare

not me. my hood is silver,,,,,for now
