It may not need to be rebuilt. If it has a full set of grease fittings, and you can get grease to come out of all 4 seals of each u-joint, it's more than likely fine.
Of course, rebuilding it even then may just give you additional piece of mind.
But if all the u-joints have a grease fitting located like one of these three, get it rebuilt.
