You have to wait an hour (with the truck on) to re-enter the code. Just go for a nice drive and try again.

Spike, It is just digital shorthand for "I don't know".

Does the rover have to be running or just ignition in the on position for an hour? That would suck it had to be running an hour, I rarely drive that far in mine.

yes you have to leave the radio on for an hour, key in acc or in run position. you will most likely not be able to start the truck afterward in either situation unless this whole time (or most of it) the engine was running. I would take robot808's advice if you don't have a battery charger. I would say if you are out for 40-50 minutes one day you could try turning the key back one click (this should keep the radio on, I would test it first) and then let the battery run for the remainder of the time, however with the ignition circuits on as well your battery wont last long. If the battery is fairly new this shouldn't hurt it and the truck should start but I would keep a set of jumper cables in the truck when you try this.

With a fully charged battery and everything else off a car stereo will work for 2 days before the battery is weak enough to not start the engine during the summer. (ask me how I know)
Winter time cut that in half.

It has to be in the first position where you can see "CODE" on the radio display. Not to where you see the all the idiot lights.
