Smile and you thought you had the Ultimate D2! The Britts are not messing around here

Ive been introduced to a British company that specializes in metal fabrications and their favorite vehicles happen to be Land Rovers. They also make a HD bumper like nothing else. I spoke with the owner and apparently they are making arrangements for a US based distributor of their products so we can get their products cheaper.

Here is the link to their Disco 2 section of their website. Check out the front HD bumper...... Discovery 2 | Torque Performance 4×4

Kudos to the Britts!

Good find. I emailed them for a quote on a bumper. I'll post what I get in response.

All that work and it still has less articulation than a stock Disco 1 haha... nice axle housing and shocks though.

It looks like the blue D2 has had some serious mods for offroading. The guy must have spent a small fortune on that truck. Be great to see it when it's completed and track tested.

I than asked him about a rumor I heard on Facebook, that his bumpers where made or originated in Korea and this was his reply:

"
I feel very annoyed to find out that these rumours are going around the internet, we pride ourselves on our workmanship and I can assure you that they are 100% British manufactured.

We have our website www.tp4x4.com and also a facebook page Torque Performance 4x4 where we have photos of the bumpers being manufactured on our shop floor, customer feedback and also updates on various projects we have in progress.

Our US distributor has our products in transit so set up should be imminent.

If you have any further queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Regards

Paul"

So far I like the guy. Sounds like they know what they are talking about and they make good products. Zack why dont you donate to me your D2, then buy yourself a D1 with all that better flexing you speak of? lol

I'm going to 4 link my disco, so it'll be plenty flexy

I just think they have the skills to do something better than an extended watts linkage.

Cool products. You should email Justin at L8 and he may be able to do a group buy.
