Alarm/immobilizer
New to the thread here so this question has probably been asked before but anyway.
Went and locked my 97 discovery with the key and then when I went to unlock it the alarm sounded, and would not shut off. Eventually got the alarm to stop sounding but then the engine wouldn't turn over at all when you tried to start it. I think its the immobilizer and was wondering how to reset or turn it off. Have tried to use EKA code but car didn't make a single beep to say if code was right or not. Also tried radio code, and turning key into lock and unlock position three times. Nothing has worked. Any suggestions?
