There seems to be conflicting information from LandRover on when the Ingenium gas engine is going to be rolled out. I have heard from my local LR dealer that they are starting to roll out (2 models-250hp; 300hp) on the Jaguar platform and I have seen other enthusiast and car blogs saying it is going to be the 2017 or 2018 model year. Any insights on this? Thank you

 

I'm curious about this myself. Was looking at a Jaguar XE until I realized it's a Ford engine in North America. No sales person was able/willing to tell me anything about the Ingenium engine; they all said "that's the diesel".
They got quite defensive when I asked about the rumored inline six Ingenium.

 

they are out . 2 version 230hp and 290 hp....

i got a loanrer today for my D5 seems peppy... more than my 250hp DS but im not sure which engine is in my car....
