Disco 2 Hemi Swap potential
Was browsing around the YouTube’s the other day and came across this video where a guy has swapped a ZF HP8 into his discovery 2 with a bmw engine.

apparently he runs the dashboard with a stand alone canbus and the transmission with another stand alone unit and retains traction control as well. They sell all the parts to do this on this website.

where this gets interesting though is that this transmission is the same one dodge used on their 1500 trucks behind the 5.7 and even 6.4 hemis. This would be far from a bolt in kit, but it would appear that the ingredients could be there for such a swap if someone felt so inclined.
