Default Trailhead chevy ls engine swap

Just got off the phone with trailhead 4x4 and the price on the ls 4.8 swap starts around 9k before takes and everything. They did say they are partnering with lucky8 and they will install them in their shop also. No diy kit but all the engines are completely rebuilt and they have everything set up so you just drive away with it. Sounds very very tempting just hate it's so far away!!!!

That would be the smart move IMO. Patent the custom adapters and whatnot and sell the DIY kit, and still offer install service. Being in the Midwest as they are only means they're too far for just about everybody to bring a D2 to them.

That a real big YET.

Considering I spoke with Trailhead and they said no kits.
Things may have changed since then. To tell you the honest truth, this kit and it's cost benefit analysis determines whether or not I keep my truck, or wait for the new defender.

Yea , I know the defender wont be the tough rugged off-roader it once was, and I'm fine with that.

Or maybe I'll just get a dam Jeep.

idk, im just rambling. hasn't been a good week for my truck.
