I'm swapping an LC9 5.3L into my 2004 Discovery 2 with a 4" lift. The LC9 oil pan is fairly slim (just a few inches deeper than the Holley muscle car pan) so I believe it should clear but would prefer to make the swap with the motor on the stand rather than in the truck.

So what are people running for oil pans in their D2 LS swaps?

This is the one I ended up going with LS1, Firebird, Savannah type oil pan I had to cut half of the windage tray down and get a different oil pickup to make it fit.

 

FYI, the LC9 oil pan clears with plenty of room on my truck (with a 4" lift).
