Default Auto correct WTH!

For weeks now, auto correct(which I thought was turned off), has gone crazy.
It takes twice as long to type anything here.
It will suddenly change a word or words that were spelled correctly...to total jibberish!
It makes no sense! And this is 3 or 4 words prior to the word I would be currently typing.
Bam, correctly spelled near complete sentence turns to nonsense in a split second.
Then of course, backspace it all and start over.
It's driving me nuts!
And just did it again! ****!
Is this happening to anyone else?
It only does it on this site, so it's Not my phone or laptop.
5 times while I typed this!

I didn’t know that the forum has any autocorrect built in. Never seen it

Ok, because I searched before posting this and couldn't find a setting for it either.
I *assumed* I had it off, because it's the first thing I turn off in a new phone, or on any forum that has it.
Now this is even stranger!

It underlines words in red and changes them to anything that isn't a word, a completely different word, or runs words together. And the semi- coherent words it does make, aren't even spelled right.
Doesn't do it anywhere else but here.

Really strange, I get misspelled words underlined in red on my iPad but no autocorrect. I get a blue underline on my android phone by no autocorrect. That is a function of the browser though as it does it everywhere I type
