Default Go back to desktop site?

I accidentally clicked yes use the crappy mobile site. Does anyone know of a way to go back to the desktop version? I've tried using the "default" link at the top, and it goes to the desktop site and then immediately goes back to the crappy mobile site. In the past deleting my cookies has been the only thing that works, but that's a pain in the butt on a phone because I have to re-login to every website I use regularly.

Any suggestions?

Yeah. I figured that out. It's a stupid work around though. The link for the default site should actually work in my opinion.

The iphone app is great though. May never have this problem again.

You do not have to delete your cookies to toggle desktop mode. If your like me and to LAZY to manually log in every time then keep your cookies, unless you feel like being logged off all your accounts, and all your saved passwords and web page settings will be rest. If your using Android then heres how to switch to desktop mode.

Firefox: go to the landroverforums.com then press the menu button on your device. Next select "more" then the 4th option down "Request Desktop Site" check the box and exit the menu. Page will automatically refresh in desktop mode.

Internet Explorer: landroverforums.com then press the menu button on your device. Next select "More", from there scroll down to the last option "Settings". Not even half way down look for an option "Mobile view" and uncheck it. Then refresh page and your golden.

Sometimes it also works when you restart your device. Ive done it before and when I re-visit LRforums Im back at the page where it asks you if you would like to switch to the mobile version, just select no.
