Hi everyone, hoping some one has some advice for me. I have a 1999 Freelander TD 'L' series engine. It was over heating so I have replaced the thermostat, then I did the head gasket. I have also flushed the radiator and the block. The car will idle and no temp rise is seen but when you take it for a drive it wants to empty the expansion tank. When the car is at idle the water is circulating through the expansion tank and every thing seems fine. the temp gauge rises to the mid point on the gauge. Any ideas?
