Exclamation Brake issue on a 2002

I just got my car back from the shop where it was for a blown coolant pipe and wiring harness issue. Well now the brakes barely work. Like the pedal is hard as a rock and it takes all my strength to really make the car stop. I tried searching but didn't find anything. I'm new to this car and don't want to take it back to shop so all help is appreciated.

When I went back to the car the abs, traction control, emergency brake, and the slope light all were on and stayed on. Could it just be a fuse is blown?

Seems nothing was wrong with lights and brakes before it went to shop. Had wiring issues, seems like you have more wiring issues as these are present after shop. Return for fix or find better shop.

Sounds as though the booster isn't connected to vacuum any longer. Check the line where it comes out of the brake booster (on firewall, drivers side) and trace the plastic pipe back to the inlet hose right below the MAF sensor. It takes a winding route behind the engine cover, and may be disconnected.
