Trying to figure out the crazy bearing color codes so I can get new bearings and get my motor back together. Crank journals polished up good. No color marks on stock bearings. Mains mic at 2.6665 to 2.6667 - Rods 2.1275
Block stamped BBBC - stamped A on end of crank. Blue color seems the most common available. Rimmer Bros in UK stocks all colors but are no help in selecting the right ones. They are too pricey to experiment and buy the wrong ones. Anybody know an "expert" on these motors - even if in the UK?
