I have a 2003 Freelander SE with 109K miles. I have been very lucky as it has been problem free (though I am very concientious about giving it proper maintenance). That said, I am having cooling problems. I replaced the cooling fans ECU this past weekend with a new unit. The engine ran well this weekend. However, today it overheated then fans kicked in and cooled engine. The fans seem to be inconsistent. Could it be sensor? Any recomendations? I would like to find a reputable and honest Land Rover mechanic in the Miami / South Dade (Florida) area. Any recomendations would be truly appreciated. Thank you.
