Freelander cooling kit
Why not just ground the fan, so it could be running as soon as you start it up lol..
Ive seen it done, but i don't think its good for the motor. It keeps it from reaching its optimal running temperature. People do that usually when they have a bad relay or a bad ECT switch they don't want to change..If you have cooling problems, you can try drilling a small hole in the thermostat.
YES! the cooling kits are a load of Crap. The can actually overload the relay..which mine did...Cost me pretty pennies...I've heard of people puting in switches,,,but why are you wanting to do this? IS your Lander not cooling properly? The only other thing you could do is go in with someone who has software and a Comp with all the bells and whistles for LR's and change it on the computer.
