Default Freelander struggles to start second time

My 53 reg freelander starts first time everymorning without fail however, once i turn it off and try and start it again it really struggles to start. When it finally does their is no power in the accelerator for around 3 seconds after that the power comes back ?

Any ideas

Many thanks

Sounds like your fuel pump is getting weak. Once it heats up it cant get up to speed fast enough.

This was the main cause I joined all those years ago. Thanks….Turns out it was a broken down grasp cable. I gave the cable end a good pull and found where it frayed and broke off.
