They want $2200 + my 1997 Land Rover Discovery w/ 139k miles. My disco interior is in rough shape the exterior was just painted and it runs great. I like the fact that the freelander only has 60k miles and is 5 years newer. Any input would be appriciated. Thanks!

I would keep the disco, engines and trannies have a much higher failure rate in freelanders from what I've seen. And the Freelander will need timing belts at 72,000 miles $$$. If you look at it, make sure the coolant looks clean, no black crud or oil mix, happens a lot.
