Resonance in the car from 1,300-2,000rpm (diesel)
I have a 2000 Freelander 2.0 turbodiesel. It's a good car, but it's quite annoying to drive, because you'll always want to keep it above 2,000 rpm because of a loud resonance sound on lower rpms, just as when you're pushing a car on a rpm where the engine doesn't have enough power to pull - it's just that this one does have enough power to pull the car at 1,500 rpms on the straight.. It pulls just fine, but still sounds like it doesn't. I haven't driven another Freelander, but there must be something wrong with it.. any ideas?
