Or Castrol or Amsoil, they are all great, also use a good quality oil filter like a Mobil 1 or a K&N.

Check your manual, it states very specific weight and brands. I went with the Mobil 1 option.

I've always used synthetic oil on mine, and the manufacturer are actually very adamant about using synthetic oil.

Hello,
The biggest danger of not using the synthetic oil is the build up of sluge in the engine. I would definately have a good macanic look it over. If it has alot of sluge buildup ask his opion on a safe way to remove it before switching to the correct synthetic old. Depending on the miles, switching over to synthetic after she has used regular oil for a long time could stop up the oil filter with the slug (Very, Very, Bag Thing).
Hope this helps,
Anthony

I've always used Mobile1 0-40 as the book recommends in mine but I asked mybrother who is a 30 year mechanic when I first bought it and his opinion was sure it's better butit doesn't really matter as long as it's changed at 3k intervals. I stuck with the synthetic throughout the warranty period just so there could be no issue with that. I'm not sure if I'll change to standard oil now or not but at $4-$5 a quart synthetic gets expensive. [&:]

I'm also running the 0 - W40 in mine and have 146,000 miles on it. I'm having a few minor issues but other than that she's still going strong.
