I recently bought one of these (geniune LR part) to replace the original from my 02 RR HSE which separated (lid and cupholder parts). I (foolishly) thought it would be an easy switch out, but alas, the anchor screws are protected by a black piece of trim and a wooden piece of trim. Is this something the deal should do? I am not a skilled DIY guy, but not totally inept either. Let me know, I just don't even see a place to start. Thanks.
