I have a 2003 HSE who's drivers seat electronics has gone wacko and now seemingly has halted all movement of my steering wheel. Took it to my dealership and they tell me that I have to replace the entire seat adjustment electronics (which link to the steering wheel!). They gave me a quote of some $750.00. Whoh!!

I just have a hard time believing that a better fix can't be done...and at a whole bunch cheaper! Probably the gizmo has some short that can be simply addressed?

Anyone have had similar issues? Know of a simple cure? Know of where I might purchase a used unit that I could swap with my boned one?
