Default 05 Range Rover DVD Install Help!

Hello - we just installed the DVD Systems that Land Rover sells from Rosen (Part #YIP500360) with the install kit made for the 2005 Range Rover Part (#VUB503722). The problem is - we cannot see the DVD play on the front touchscreen at all. Not in park, not with the parking break up, nothing. Any insight? Any way we can hack into this and unlock it? Is it even possible for the DVD to play on the front touch screen? All we can see is AUX on the front screen.

One person told me "It's not intended to display there. You can get an aftermarket router so it does, but then you'd need a video input for your Nav screen as well. All together, the parts necessary will be $2000 if you want to do that."

What about the TV option that the car comes with? Doesn't that mean there is a Video input in the touchscreen?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Default RE: 05 Range Rover DVD Install Help!

if you mean the overhead dvd player, no it will not, it does not send the video to anything else, just audio. and it can be done, there are three video inputs on the back of the screen... dvd, rearview camera, and venture cam. its just a matter of getting someone who knows how and will do it. check out your local car audio shop, they should be able to get it done.
