'08 RRS HSE questions
I'm new to the community - just bought my first LR. It's an '08 Sport HSE, and came with no manual. In the center console, above the cooling box, there is a mount with an electrical cord. Looks like you could mount a very specific device in there - maybe an old school cell phone or something. I have no idea what this device is for, and haven't had any luck trying to search the web. Any ideas? I'd appreciate any information - also, since I'm new, I'm open to experiences with this Model in general. Looking forward to getting this thing on some trails at some point in the not too distant future.
I suspect you are seeing the base plate for the telephone system. You can plug your phone into the vehicle and use it hands free. Connecting in this manner gives the phone priority over Bluetooth devices.
There are interchangeable adapter plates so a variety of phones may be connected.
