Hello all,

So I threw my reverse gear in my transmission. I realize that 87-92 will NOT work with my vehicle so I thought I would ask here. Does anyone know where I can buy a rebuilt transmission that will fit my application for a 3.9L SWB County model? My truck only has 71,000 original miles on it so I have thought about having mine rebuilt but if other options are out there I would love to know about it. Please let me know what you think either way and ANY help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

get it rebuilt, its easy to do and aught to be relativly cheap, and its the same trans that is in a D1 and a auto D90, and why cant you use a earlier classic trans? as far as i know theyre all 4hp22's... may have to swap the tail housing to mate up to the different tbox, but the trans itself should be the same
